Our Story..

The very first moment I started drinking tea I quickly realized there's enough tea in a tea bag to get two cups of tea and I hate being wasteful. The best solution I found online was to save the soggy tea bag in the fridge with was kind of gross to me and trying to make two cups of tea was inefficient since one was stronger than the other. Fast forward 10 years later, I encountered the same problem when I was down to my last tea bag and my two little nephews wanted a tea each. I thought to myself “I wish I could just rip this tea bag down the middle” and that’s when the idea was born. Later that same night my friend added more water to her 8oz mug because her tea was too strong and that’s when I got to work. Not only did I come out with the perforated tea bag, patent pending, but I also wanted to make sure I created a great product that I could get behind. I use great tasting premium whole leaf teas and a 100% natural ingredients filter paper for the tea bags. I've done my best to bring you the best value.

Who is Josias?
Born & Raised in the Monterey, California area. I went to school for accounting and preparing personal & business income taxes but ended up in the wine industry which I fell in love with. I received my Sommelier Certification and enjoy talking to people about wine. A few years later, I cultivated my love for tea and, using my knowledge from wine and developed palate, I taught myself how to taste tea. 'If you love what you do, you never have to work a day in your life'. I've been in this quest for the past several years so when I had this idea for tea bags I decided to go all in and give it my best shot despite how hard it gets and all the sacrifices. Besides drinking wine & tea, I enjoy spending time with my friends and family, attending edm shows, and taking walks & drinking tea at the beach.
